This Privacy Policy explains how Codelive, Inc. (“Codelive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, transfers, and protects personal information when you use AiNecto.
AiNecto is an AI-powered development support platform. This Privacy Policy applies to AiNecto websites, applications, APIs, AI features, integrations, documentation, support, and related services.
If you are located in the Republic of Korea, the Korean Privacy Policy will apply to your use of AiNecto. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Korean Privacy Policy for Korean users, the Korean Privacy Policy will apply to the extent of that conflict.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you use AiNecto.
Account Information
When you create or use an account, we may collect your name, email address, profile image, account identifiers, workspace or team information, plan information, role and permission information, login method, and authentication information.
If you sign in with Google, GitHub, or Microsoft, we receive information authorized through that provider, such as your email, name, profile image, and OAuth identifier.
User Content
“User Content” means materials you submit to, generate through, store in, or process using AiNecto, including prompts, schemas, SQL, ERDs, diagrams, code, documents, tests, security findings, tasks, files, metadata, comments, repository metadata, and synchronization data.
User Content may include personal information if you choose to include it.
AI Usage Information
When you use AI features, we may process AI inputs, AI outputs, model or feature metadata, token or credit usage, timestamps, and error information.
Integration Information
If you connect a third-party service, such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Google, or Microsoft, we may process information needed to provide the integration, including OAuth tokens, selected repository metadata, selected files, synchronization status, and integration settings.
Billing Information
If you purchase a paid plan, credits, or add-ons, we may process billing email, billing name, billing country or address, subscription plan, payment status, invoice information, tax information, transaction identifiers, refund information, and chargeback information.
Payment card or bank details are handled by the payment provider and are not provided to Codelive in full.
Usage, Device, and Log Information
We may automatically collect IP address, device and browser information, operating system, pages viewed, events, session information, referral URLs, approximate location derived from IP address, request URLs, timestamps, error logs, and performance data.
Communications and Preferences
If you contact us or choose to receive communications, we may process your name, email address, message content, support request details, attachments, notification preferences, email consent records, and unsubscribe records.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve AiNecto;
- create, authenticate, and manage accounts;
- provide AI features and generate outputs;
- store, process, export, share, and synchronize User Content;
- provide third-party integrations selected by you;
- process subscriptions, credits, invoices, taxes, refunds, and payment status;
- respond to support requests and service inquiries;
- send service, security, billing, and policy notices;
- send marketing or promotional emails where permitted and subject to your choices;
- monitor performance, debug errors, and maintain reliability;
- prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents;
- analyze usage and improve user experience;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Contract: to provide AiNecto and paid services you request;
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, analyze, and improve AiNecto, prevent abuse, provide support, and operate our business;
- Consent: for certain cookies, marketing emails, optional integrations, optional data uses, or where required by law;
- Legal obligations: to comply with tax, accounting, consumer protection, privacy, security, law enforcement, or other legal requirements.
You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
4. AI Data Handling
AiNecto may use third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, to provide AI features.
We send information to AI providers only as needed to provide the feature you request, such as prompts, schemas, diagram metadata, code context, and AI request metadata.
Unless you expressly opt in or a separate written agreement says otherwise, we do not use your User Content to train Codelive’s AI models.
AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI outputs before relying on them.
5. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.
Service Providers
We use service providers to operate AiNecto, including cloud hosting, security, AI processing, payment processing, email delivery, monitoring, analytics, and support.
Key service providers may include Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Paddle, DirectSend, Sentry, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
Third-Party Services You Connect
If you connect a third-party service, we disclose or receive information as directed by you and your integration settings.
Workspace or Organization Accounts
If you use AiNecto through an organization, workspace, or team account, the organization and its administrators may access, manage, export, restrict, or delete information associated with that workspace, depending on account settings and applicable agreements.
Legal, Security, and Compliance
We may disclose information if required or permitted by law, legal process, regulation, court order, governmental request, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Codelive, users, or others.
Business Transfers
We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction.
With Your Consent
We may disclose information with your consent or at your direction.
Aggregated or De-identified Information
We may use and disclose aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not identify you.
We do not sell personal information for money.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential service operation, login and session management, security, preference storage, analytics, performance monitoring, and marketing measurement where permitted.
We may use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand website and product usage.
Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies or analytics technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings or cookie preferences where available.
7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide AiNecto, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, maintain security, and operate our business.

When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, de-identify, or securely retain it as required by law and legitimate operational needs.
8. International Transfers
Codelive is based in the Republic of Korea, and AiNecto may be operated using service providers located in the Republic of Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and other countries where our providers operate.
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, which may include data processing agreements, Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, equivalent Swiss safeguards, and supplementary technical and organizational measures.
If we are required to appoint a representative in the European Economic Area under Article 27 of the GDPR, we will make the representative’s contact details available in this Privacy Policy.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information and User Content, including access controls, encryption in transit, logging, monitoring, and least-privilege access practices.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, devices, API keys, access tokens, and integration permissions.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- access personal information;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information;
- restrict or object to processing;
- withdraw consent;
- receive a copy of personal information;
- opt out of marketing emails;
- manage cookie preferences;
- appeal a privacy request decision where applicable;
- lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

11. Marketing Emails

Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send service, security, legal, billing, and account-related messages.
12. Children
AiNecto is not directed to children or anyone who does not meet the applicable minimum age requirements under the laws and data protection rules of their jurisdiction.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to use AiNecto. You must also not be below any applicable minimum age under the data protection laws and regulations of your jurisdiction.

13. Region-Specific Notices
EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and complaint rights.

United States
Depending on your U.S. state of residence, you may have additional privacy rights, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, port, opt out of certain processing, and appeal a privacy decision.
We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of analytics or marketing technologies may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some U.S. state privacy laws, where applicable. We will provide required choices where required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting the updated Privacy Policy, notifying you in the Service, or sending an email.
